What is kayaking?

16.09.2019

A kayak is a small, narrow watercraft which is typically propelled by means of a double-bladed paddle. Kayaking is the use of a kayak for moving across water. It is distinguished from canoeing by the sitting position of the paddler and the number of blades on the paddle.

Before you start kayaking, you'll need the proper guidance, or else you'll end up flipping upside down!

You'll need to find a good place to enter the water. Find an area where the water is calm and where there are no rocks and is in shallow water. You'll also need the proper equipment and clothes suitable for kayaking.

If you're new to kayaking, you'll need a guide to help you get started. The guide will teach you how to enter the water, the correct techniques for holding the kayak paddle and how to navigate the ocean. You'll also have to learn how to exit the kayak if you end up upside down.
